CUPE Nova Scotia is a small but tenacious union that helps support workers in all walks of life around the province. They came to us with a modest budget and timeline but hoped we could help them create a video that celebrated their members and the impact they had on the everyday lives of Nova Scotians.

Taking their sailboat logo as inspiration, we conceived of a video that featured the boat sailing through different environments across the province, showcasing the varied and important work their membership does along the way. We created a fun and approachable cast of characters to take us through the journey, and cast a warm narrator to deliver the script. Production had less than 2 weeks to create a finished product, so animation and illustration work was done concurrently, resulting in a rich and colourful finished product.
