HELLO
Sam Bond is a Vancouver-based animator and illustrator.
Since graduating from Emily Carr University in 2010, Sam has been lending his warm and approachable style to support the progressive communications world. In addition to interning at Global Mechanic and studying character animation at Gobelins in Paris, Sam has collaborated with various notable Canadian artists, including Stan Douglas and Ken Lum.
For the past 12 years Sam worked as Point Blank Creative’s in-house director of animation, helping grow the company from half a dozen people to Canada’s largest progressive agency.
With hundreds of video projects and digital campaigns under his belt, Sam is a seasoned and versatile creator. Depending on the needs of the project, he can easily adapt to work as an animator, illustrator, storyboard artist, editor, art director or creative director.
