Furrowed Ground

Furrowed Ground was my thesis project while studying animation at Emily Carr. It was an (overly) ambitious combination of matte paintings and 3D characters, meant to tell a surreal allegory for modern technology’s impact on the environment. I worked with a high school friend and talented musician to come up with original music which served as the basis for the narrative. From there I developed the farmer and his cow. While flawed and imprecise in many areas, I still look back on this project (and the year spent making it) with fondness.
