Ecojustice is a legal not-for-profit that isn’t afraid to punch above its weight and help to take on the massive corporations who contribute to climate change and endanger our health. With over 30 years of challenges and victories, they wanted a brand story video that celebrated their humble origins and remarkable achievements.

We created a video that tapped into the overwhelming feelings of anxiety and helplessness the climate crisis creates, asking “what can I do?”. As we tell Ecojustice’s story, with every victory “what can I do?” shifts from an admission of defeat to a rallying cry of what we are capable of when we join forces. 

Capturing this tonal shift in a 3 minute animation was a fulfilling challenge. I developed an art style that was simple but impactful, with bold, semi-abstracted forms allowing me to focus on creating dreamlike animated transitions and transformations.
