PSAC North wanted to launch a campaign that highlighted the discrepancies between the rights and protections federal public sector workers had, and those afforded to workers in the territories. In short, northern workers are getting left behind and a campaign was needed to help pressure MLAs and spur new legislation.

The video that would sit at the centre of this campaign was inspired by the iconic artwork of Ted Harrison. To hook the viewer in, we created atmospheric northern scenes of various items getting left behind or lost. The illustrated backgrounds proved so popular that they were also adapted to many other campaign ad placements, including postcards and newspapers.
